The exploration of obvious and not so obvious patterns within biological systems is fascinating. From the simplest organisms such as plasmids and self-regulating RNAs to structured communities of cells with diverse molecular machines working together towards a higher entropy state. My research purpose is currently to identify, understand and describe those patterns within different biological contexts. Immunology, Cancer, and Omics.
This is the place where the magic happens and suddenly what seems hard to interpret becomes clear. Mathematical models and visualization techniques allow understanding phenomena that otherwise are incomprehensible to the naked eye.
